Millennium Naphtha Unit Project
In 2005, Bantrel was contracted to provide engineering and procurement services for Suncor@s Millennium Naphtha Unit (MNU) Project. Bantrel@s scope of work included engineering and procurement services for a new 28,800 BPSD naphtha hydrotreater, plus associated utilities and offsites (U @ O), to interface with a new hydrogen plant. Using a multi-office execution strategy, Bantrel executed the MNU Project from both our Calgary and Edmonton offices.@ The U @ O scope included@a boiler feed water
Millennium Vacuum Project
In 2000, Suncor Energy commissioned Bantrel to design, engineer and procure their Millennium Vacuum Unit project. The project set out to increase synthetic crude output of the Millennium plant by 56,000 bpd. This was achieved by adding a 48-foot diameter vacuum tower. Major on-site equipment for this project included: a vacuum tower, diluent tower, diluent stripper, diluent stripper accumulator, kerosene side stripper, coke feed drum, 3 fired heaters, 37 heat exchangers and 38 pumps. Montreal Crude Refinery Project
Petro-Canada initiated this project to increase crude running capacity at their Montreal Refinery, and commissioned Bantrel to perform front-end development work for the upgrade. We also executed engineering and procurement services for a unique design that increased the capacity of an existing crude unit and integrated it with rehabilitated capacity from the visbreaking unit. Bantrel provided ongoing support through the construction as well. The integrated unit added 25,000 barrels per day (bpd
