In 2005, Bantrel was contracted to provide engineering and procurement services for Suncor’s Millennium Naphtha Unit (MNU) Project.
Bantrel’s scope of work included engineering and procurement services for a new 28,800 BPSD naphtha hydrotreater, plus associated utilities and offsites (U & O), to interface with a new hydrogen plant. Using a multi-office execution strategy, Bantrel executed the MNU Project from both our Calgary and Edmonton offices.
The U & O scope included a boiler feed water treatment facility and additional instrument air capacity.
Throughout the project, Bantrel purchased more than $92 million of material and equipment.
