Main Line Block Valve Sites
Completed the detailed engineering for 15 Main Line Block Valve Sites including the material requisitions for the purchase of the following:
  • Main line block valve actuator
  • Instruments
  • New electrical building with equipment to suit available power (3 phase, 1 phase, generator)
Site grading and vehicle access to the site were designed for each location.

Disciplines involved: Process, Civil / Structural, Instrumentation, Electrical

Pig Launcher at Cheecham
Execution Strategy: Sites were grouped by available power to determine equipment inside the electrical building. Satellite communications, site drainage, and vehicle access were established for each individual site. Bantrel completed the detailed engineering for the addition of a pig launcher at Cheecham terminal and tieing it into the existing delivery line to the terminal. Material requisitions were prepared for the purchase of the launcher and all associated piping materials, valves, instrumentation and electrical equipment. Power and controls came from an existing electrical building.

Disciplines involved: Process, Mechanical, Piping, Civil / Structural, Instrumentation, Electrical

Pig Receiver at Edmonton Terminal
Completed the detailed engineering for the addition of a pig receiver at Edmonton Terminal (South) for the new Wooodland Pipeline Expansion project. This was part of a larger project that added tie-in facilities for this new line into the metering facilities at the terminal.

Material requisitions were prepared for the purchase of the launcher and all associated piping materials, valves, instrumentation and electrical equipment.  Power and controls came from a new electrical building purchased for this project.

Disciplines involved: Process, Mechanical, Piping, Civil / Structural, Instrumentation, Electrical

Mainline Take Off
Completed the detailed engineering for a mainline take off from the Woodland Pipeline Extension to Heartland Terminal near KM Post 344.

The scope includes the material requisitions for the purchase of the following:
  • new pcv
  • drilled check valve
  • slab gate valve
  • flow meter
  • new electrical building with required electrical, control and communications equipment inside
The scope included multi-discipline design of all requirements for this mainline take off facility, including site grading and vehicle access.

Disciplines involved: Process, Piping, Civil / Structural, Instrumentation, Electrical
