Information and Communications

Bantrel is committed to making our information and communications accessible to people with disabilities. Upon request, Bantrel will make information about the Company and its services available in accessible formats or with communication supports, and at no greater cost than the standard fee charged to others. We will work collaboratively with persons with disabilities to determine the most appropriate format or support based on accessibility needs. Additionally, Bantrel will provide publicly available emergency procedures, plans, or safety information in an accessible format as soon as reasonably possible upon request.

Employment

Bantrel is committed to fair and accessible employment practices. Candidates selected to interview for a position at Bantrel are informed of the process to submit the accommodation request. We work with applicants to identify and provide appropriate accommodations. Employees are kept informed about the policies that support individuals with disabilities, including those related to job accommodations that consider their specific accessibility needs. For employees returning to work after a disability-related absence, Bantrel will follow a structured process to develop individualized accommodation plans. If an employee’s disability requires personalized emergency response information, Bantrel will provide that information in an appropriate accessible format.

Training

Bantrel is committed to providing training on the requirements of Ontario’s accessibility laws and the Ontario Human Rights Code as it applies to persons with disabilities. Training is provided to all new hires as soon as reasonably possible and is updated whenever there are changes to relevant policies. Bantrel keeps records of all training sessions, including the dates and the number of participants for three years. We continue to ensure that training is offered to all Ontario personnel who are involved in developing policies or delivering goods, services, or facilities on behalf of Bantrel.

Going Forward

Bantrel will consider accessibility in relevant aspects of its business and operations and will endeavour to identify and remove accessibility barriers going forward. The plan will be reviewed and updated at least once every five years.
