Bantrel provided EPCM services for the Athabasca Oil Sands Downstream (AOSD) Project's Cogeneration Facility.
Bantrel's scope of work included a GE Frame 7EA DLN Gas Turbine Generator with Alstom 90 MW Steam Turbine Generator Model ATP4 - CE500. HRSG HP steam flow 286,269 kg/h at 480oC and 4344 kPa (g) with duct firing. Total capacity 180 MW.
The cogeneration facility was developed as an integral part of the Utility and Offsites for the grassroots Upgrader being built adjacent to Shell’s existing Scotford Refinery.
