Bantrel generated a cost estimate for a 200,000 bbl/day SAGD heavy oil facility, based on minimal engineering and previous cost estimates. The facilities included steam generation, oil/water separation, water deoiling and reuse and pipelines for diluted bitumen and return diluent to/from a refinery on the Orinoco River.
