From August 2017 to May 2019, Bantrel completed the construction services scopes on the Fines and Chemical Salt project. The project consisted of the fines removal and upgrading the finished chemical salt product. The project scope included the removal of the existing aspirator system, modifying existing mill conveyors and towers, installation of new mill conveyors, installation of a new screening structure & equipment including the installation of 11 optical sorters.
Bantrel was the general and prime contractor for this work. The project had all its prework activities completed in advance of the annual shutdown, with, final construction and tie-ins completed during the 21-day shutdown window in April 2019.

- An accelerated project delivery to prepare for the annual shutdown window
- The shutdown was executed on a 24-hour 7 day per week schedule
- Execution of project under budget and on schedule.
