The Recruiter will be responsible for all aspects of the recruitment process, including working with the business, third party agencies, the Human Resources team in developing recruitment plans, strategies, and ideas for sourcing candidates, and leading campus recruitment. This role will be situated in Calgary and will be responsible for recruitment of personnel for various locations across the company. The successful candidate will work very closely with internal clients along with having a close relationship with other Human Resources personnel across the organization. The ideal candidate will have the ability to deal with a broad spectrum of recruitment and human resources activities – including but not limited to the daily administrative recruitment and HR functions.
This is a 12-month contract position with a possible transition to permanent.

Duties & Responsibilities:
In collaboration with the HR team, establishes strong processes and strategies to source and identify qualified candidates.
Builds/fosters relationships with leaders across the company by contributing to the development and achievement of recruitment strategies and objectives through a clear understanding of staffing requirements.
Builds strong relationships with third party staffing firms, and agencies and utilizes appropriate resources to fill hard-to-fill positions.
Raises proactive staffing issues with managers and identifies practical solutions and recommendations.
Leads recruitment campaigns and creates metrics to measure ROI.
Receives, organizes and reviews all incoming resumes utilizing an applicant tracking system
Sources and attracts strong candidates by utilizing a database, social media, networking, and other available resources.
Responds promptly to candidate and Hiring Manager inquiries.
Assists HR team with other recruitment related activities and initiatives.
Creates job postings, job advertisements, and interview guides.
Conducts pre-screen telephone interviews and reference checks as required.
Provides support in interview process, as required.
Responsible for completion of offer packages.
Attends career/job fairs and represents Bantrel in a positive and productive manner.
Qualifications / Requirements:
University or Post-secondary degree is an asset.
5 - 10 years of experience in a full-cycle recruitment capacity.
Experience with recruitment in an EPC environment, or with a focus on Engineering and Construction positions a definite asset.
Proven track record in meeting and exceeding recruitment targets.
Experience in researching, identifying innovative candidate sourcing avenues and networking for candidate referrals.
Must display the flexibility, adaptability, and willingness to complete various recruitment and HR-related tasks.
Excellent verbal/written communication skills and superb interpersonal skills.
Results oriented professional with strong time-management, problem-solving skills, and with the ability to multi-task.
A self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong work ethic, a high respect for confidentiality and sound professional judgment and initiative.
Strong accountability and responsibility to meet aggressive deadlines.
Strong Microsoft Office skills required, advanced knowledge of an ATS and reporting systems, and/or experience within ERP type systems.
